It's an immeasurable pleasure to find that Craven Faults can take the simple elements which make up so much of my favourite electronic music and come up with something so shiny and new. There are shades of Neu! Faust, Spacemen 3 , Terry Riley, Phillip Glass and Michael Nyman even, but nobody does drone and repetition in such a textured, majestic and constantly evolving way. I'm not yet as hooked to these tracks as I am to the ones on the first release but it's only a matter of time.
